Call for Abstracts (closed 28 June 2018)

Technical Programme Outline


As Innovation is a key element of technical content of the conference, it is a requirement that all content of the proposed paper reflects and advance on current accepted practice and demonstrates tangible benefits to industry and society.

All papers submitted will be peer reviewed prior to acceptance and publication. Due to time constraints it may not be possible for all papers to be presented at plenary, parallel workshop or speciality sessions. However, all authors are invited to present their papers in a dedicated poster session. Posters may reflect the entire content of a short, bullet-type paper or a specific feature of a full paper. In all cases the format will be prescribed for both electronic– and textual posters.

Once the abstract has been accepted, papers addressing the themes and topics of the conference and prepared in the approved format and not exceeding 6 000 words in length, will be peer reviewed prior to final acceptance and publication.


An abstract of the proposed paper which demonstrate resonance with the conference theme is to be submitted to the secretariat for acceptance. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words in length. Kindly note that you may submit a maximum of two abstracts per author.
